Nessa V, Head Baker
As a first generation Mexican-American with two Bachelor’s degrees in Business and Marketing Communications, Nessa always knew her passion for baking would be at the forefront of her life. She started baking when she was only six years old and hasn’t stopped since. Through all that life has thrown at her, she has always relied on baking to make life a little better and a lot sweeter! Nessa pours all her love into every item she bakes, she cares for every customer, and only uses the best ingredients, which is why her treats are always memorable.
Nessa functions under the core values that have been cultivated throughout her life experiences and from her greatest inspiration: her big sister.

Nessa's Godson: Lucas.
Lucas was born with ARPKD. He was incredibly loved, treasured, and well taken care of in his time with us. He fought incredibly hard and we couldn’t be prouder of him. We also couldn’t be more grateful that we got to have him in his too short of time on this earth. In Lucas's honor, every yearly quarter, A Slice of Cielo will donate to the Ronald McDonald Foundation's for the support they provided our family through one of the hardest times of their lives, but also for every other family that goes through their housing while hoping their sick ones heal.
